Handwara, September 24: As part of the ongoing campaign against drug abuse, Handwara Police, led by SHO Kralgund Sameer Altaf, in collaboration with the Excise Department team led by Zuhaib Shafi, conducted an anti-bhang drive at Khanu Batagund.
During the joint operation, the team carried out checks and removed bhang plants as part of efforts to curb the cultivation and spread of intoxicating substances in the area.
The authorities reiterated their commitment to intensifying such drives to prevent drug abuse, safeguard the younger generation, and promote a drug-free society.
